Ozo shared the groundbreaking news on Instagram, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to announce the NFL draft pick for the Cleveland Browns.
He revealed that this announcement marks the first-ever selection made from Nigeria, following the Browns’ access to the Global Market Program earlier in the year. This partnership also signifies the first and only NFL collaboration in Nigeria.
In his statement, Ozo said: “History! Honored to be making the @nfl draft pick announcement for the @clevelandbrowns. This will be the first-ever pick announced from Nigeria, following the Browns receiving Global Market Program rights earlier this year. This being the very first and only NFL partnership in Nigeria.”
