Junior Pope has reportedly passed away due to a drowning incident.

Nollywood star Junior Pope Odonwodo tragically died when his boat overturned while he was heading to a film set.

Reports state that he drowned shortly after posting a video of himself on a boat on his Instagram.

In the video, he begged the boat operator to ease up, expressing his wish to raise his three children on his own, as he was his parents’ only child.

Filming himself in the middle of the River Niger, he highlighted the dangers actors face to entertain their fans.
